Source: Le Repos dans les Champs – we have now had the pleasure of offering for sale this very unique and important painting by the 19th century French Realist artist Julien Dupre (1851-1910) for the third time in our history. Le Repos dans les Champs was one of two paintings the artist chose to exhibit at the Paris Salon in 1887.
