Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Looks For New President

February 18, 2019

Don Bacigalupi is stepping down as president of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.  While the museum searches for his replacement, John W. McCarter, Jr. will assume the role.  Lucas’s museum, a $1 billion project, is scheduled to open in 2021 and will house and exhibit his collection of over 10,000 paintings and illustrations.

You might remember that Lucas was the buyer of the Rockwells’ Shuffleton’s Barbershop that belonged to The Berkshire Museum (Lucas museum buys Rockwell’s ‘Shuffleton’s Barbershop’).
