For those of you who are thirsting for more about da Vinci’s Salvator Mundi, here is some new information on the painting’s provenance — how and when it traveled from Europe to the United States. It is sad to think that the family of the previous owners, who owned it for about 50 years, received less than $10,000 from their estate sale in 2005.
