An exhibition that explores the rich symbolism of flowers in contemporary art.
On view from April 18th to May 30th, Bloom features a diverse group of contemporary painters and sculptors who use floral imagery to reflect on themes of life, love, identity, and the environment.
Flowers can represent beauty, growth, decay, and transformation. In Bloom, artists utilize flowers as powerful metaphors to examine and explore various aspects of life, ranging from our emotions to social dynamics and even environmental concerns. Whether it be vibrant blossoms or subtle depictions of wilting petals, the works in Bloom challenge viewers to reflect on the delicate balance between resilience and fragility.
This is more than just an exhibition; it’s a celebration of life through contemporary painting and sculpture. Whether representing personal transformation, the state of the natural world, or the intricacies of human relationships, the works in Bloom offer a fresh perspective of one of the most widely painted subjects in art history.
