New York’s MoMA to Demolish Folk Art Museum for Expansion – once completed, the addition will add 40,000 square feet for galleries and public areas.  

Last Chance to See the Man Who Loved Cats and Girls – the Met’s exhibition Balthus: Cats and Girls (Paintings and Provocations) will close on January 12.  The linked article has a short interview with curator Sabine Rewald.  

Nazi-looted art found in German parliament – two looted works, one by Georg Waltenberger and another by Lovis Corinth, were found in the Bundestag collection.  The interesting part is that both works once belonged to the Gurlitt family.

Dartmouth’s Remarkable Mural by José Clemente Orozco – a nice article by Mary Tompkins Lewis on The Epic of American Civilization which measures 92 feet in length and is housed on the walls of Dartmouth College’s Baker Library.  

The Innocents of Holman Hunt – here is one writer’s take on William Holman Hunt’s The Triumphs of the Innocents.  I, for one, think it is a pretty impressive Pre-Raphaelite work of art.
