29 Picasso’s will hit the market at Christie’s upcoming sale. The works come from the same collection; a Holocaust survivor, philanthropist and gallery owner, Jan Krugier, who passed away in 2008. One lot alone, “Tête”, made of cut iron has a high estimate of $35 million (image below). Furthermore, additional lots from his collection include, Wassily Kandisnky’s “Herbstlandschaft” valued at $25 million and Alberto Giacometti’s “Femme de Venise I” valued at $12 million.
