Early Renaissance painter, Baldovinetti was born in Florence on October 14, 1425. Follower of Andrea del Castagno, Paolo Uccello and Domenico Veneziano, Baldovinetti is known for his scientific realist and naturalist art. His stunning frescos can be found in the church of Santa Trinita, the Annunziata basilica, the basilica of San Miniato, and the chapel of the Rucellai family. Happy Birthday Alesso Baldovinetti!
