As the market continues to grow and galleries expand, very successful artists have the ability to ‘play the field’ … exhibiting with more than one dealer at a time. This can be very helpful to the lucky dealers and the artist’s market. It is also important for the artist’s to be able to produce enough work so each of those galleries can supply the demand they create … an artist should never spread themselves too thin.
