According to Jennifer Smith’s article in The Wall Street Journal, the Metropolitan Museum of Art may be forced to change its admission signs again. According to a couple of lawsuits, the current signs do not make it perfectly clear that people can enter the museum for free and that the “fees” are only suggested and not required.
