Source: Madeleine & Maria on the Terrace – we just added this incredible two figure painting by Daniel Ridgway Knight (1839-1924) to our available online inventory. This particular work was created at the height of his artistic career (c.1899-1905) and features two of his favorite models — Maria & Madeleine.
I know it isn’t a Picasso or Giacometti, but it is still a great example of 19th century French Academic / Realist art.
