Pablo Picasso’s Femme au Chignon un Fauteuil was acquired at the recent sale by Chinese movie tycoon Wang Zhongjun for $29.9M (he was also the buyer of the van Gogh still life that sold last November for $61.8M). Guess the movie industry can be very lucrative. The Picasso was sold by the Goldwyn family … considered Hollywood royalty. Is the balance of power in the movie industry shifting???
