Corcoran set to close

May 16, 2014

The Corcoran Gallery of Art, known for its cutting edge contemporary exhibitions, will close it’s doors at the end of the summer. An agreement has been reached where George Washington University will take over ownership of the building and perform renovations while the federally funded National Gallery of Art will be responsible for collecting and maintaining exhibits. And let’s not forget that when it does reopen, it will offer free admission!
