This morning, Robin Pogrebin and Scott Reyburn wrote a nice story about the da Vinci sale in The New York Times. They even included a short video.
While some still doubt its authenticity, at least two people felt it was right, and one of them paid over $450M to own it.
On an important side note, the price achieved will probably be a sharp blow to Mr. Rybolovlev’s case against Yves Bouvier.
