Will technology help solve the riddle? We will soon find out … well, by 2019 we might know. And by 2020 you can buy the book with all the details. According to Tim Collins’s article in the Daily Mail, researchers from the University of Glasgow will use infrared reflectography, X-radiography and a number of other scientific techniques to examine a late 1570s painting. Some experts believe the work, part of the Glasgow Museum’s collection, is by El Greco and others say no way. I, for one, am looking forward to hearing the results and seeing all the evidence.
