Source: Les Foins – we are very pleased to offer this rather unique painting by Edouard Leon Cortes (1882-1969). While most know Cortes as an artist specializing in Parisian street scenes, he was also a very accomplished landscape artist. The earliest of these landscapes date from c.1899 and he continued to explore the theme throughout his career.
