One of 5 surviving “ready-made” sculptures by Marcel Duchamp will be offered for sale in October at a gallery in Paris. The piece, owned by the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation will be the centerpiece of an exhibit at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac. The price has not been disclosed; but what is known, is that the piece can only be sold to a public museum.
