After receiving a letter that they had named their school house after him, Banksy decided to pay Bridge Farm Primary a visit. While the faculty, staff and students were on their half-term break, Banksy painted a 14 foot mural on their exterior wall (image below) with a note reading:
“Dear Bridge Farm School
Thanks for your letter and naming a house after me. Please have a picture. If you don’t like it feel free to add stuff, I’m sure the teachers won’t mind. Remember – Its always easier to get forgiveness than permission.
Much Love
Banksy”
According to reports, the school has no plans to remove the mural and will take good care of it.
