According to an article by Skye Ryan, a new record price was set for the Canadian artist E.J. Hughes when his The Post Office at Courtenay brought $1.6 million dollars last week. The interesting part is that many of the artist’s works are still unaccounted for, which means that the next find could be in someone’s attic, at a tag sale or thrift shop.
