wonder bomB: Pop Art still weighs heavily in the art world. I have always approached the subject much like Lichtenstein or Warhol might have in returning directly to the source material, but I always come up with an experience that I would term Post-Pop. It is aged, worn, crumpled, yellowed. It requires a re-looking and a new relationship. Realism, if nothing else, allows for an honest looking at the source material. And because it allows for an honest looking it will allow for an honest reassessment.
