The Knoedler / De Sole trial is heating up. Seems as though, according to Colin Moynihan’s article, some of the experts Knoedler claimed had viewed the fake Rothko, never did. In addition, some experts authenticated [other] forged paintings while receiving undisclosed consulting fees from Knoedler. Oh what a tangled web we weave…
