Great story about the gift of giving in the UK and the giver can get a really nice tax break. Through the Acceptance in Lieu Scheme (for estates dealing with inheritance tax) and the Cultural Gifts Scheme (for living tax payers) some great works of art have made their way into public collections; included are paintings by Churchill, Cedric Morris, Alma-Tadema, Holman Hunt and Edwin Landseer.
