Source: Jeune fille – we just added this 19th century French Academic painting by Francois Alfred Delobbe (1835-1920) to our web site. Delobbe was accepted to the Ecole des Beaux-Arts at the age of 16 and began his training with Thomas Couture. He made his debut at the Paris Salon in 1861 — at which point he was studying with William A. Bouguereau.
