Here is an interesting art related story about 4 young girls, all of whom have been raped or abused, overdosed on pills or cut themselves, or lived in foster care or detention homes. They reside at a facility called the Village and over the past year art therapy has proven to be the most effective for them. Their “reward” was a trip to someplace none had ever been – The Barnes Foundation.
