Irma Stern painting worth £1m found being used as kitchen pinboard

Here is another great ‘trash to treasure’ story.  Seems as though this family used Irma Stern’s “Arab in Black” to pin up postcards, letters and bills.  In addition, “The 1939 masterpiece, of an Arab man in a colourful turban, was once sold to help pay Nelson Mandela’s lawyers so holds huge political significance.”  For more, click HERE.
