Source: The Green Lizard – in keeping with the 19th century British Neoclassical theme, here is one from our old sold archives by Charles Edward Perugini (1839-1918). Perugini was a student and friend of Frederic Leighton and this painting was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1902.
