The heirs of art dealer Rene Gimpel will receive and undisclosed amount from the sale of Monet’s Les meules a Giverny. During the war, Gimpel’s inventory was taken and he was sent to a German concentration camp where he died. The painting will be offered this May with an estimate of $12-$18M.
