After only two years, The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, has raised $330 million of their $45 million goal, to break ground on a redevelopment plan. With hopes to be completed by 2019, Steven Holl Architects will build a new 164,000 square-foot building for 20th and 21st century art, a 80,000 square-foot home for the MFA Houston’s Glassell School of arts, a conservation center with lab facilities, an outdoor amphitheater, and rooftop sculpture gardens.
