Georgia O’Keeffe’s Jimson weed/White flower no. 1 was offered to today at the American sale in NYC. The work was being sold by the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum to benefit their acquisitions fund. The work was estimated at $10-$15M and sold for $44.4M!
