With Leonard Lauder Collection, Metropolitan Museum of Art Attempts to Fill a Modern-Art Gap– It is now on view … Lauder’s $1 Billion gift to the Met. It is nice to see that this collector went out of their way to buy the best works possible and in the end created an amazing collection.
