Bewigged Warhol Caps $347 Million Contemporary-Art Sales – the contemporary sales are over in London and they appear to have been fairly strong … not as “blockbuster” as the sales in NY during May (remember that Sotheby’s evening sale in NYC made $364M and Christie’s was close to $750M); but another $347M is pretty good.
