Another Francis Bacon triptych will be hitting the auction block at the end of the month at Sotheby’s Evening sale of Contemporary Art in London. Depicting the love of the artists’ life, Three Studies for Portrait of George Dyer, is estimated to bring in 15 – 20 million euros. Only five works have been documented of Dyer and this one has been in a private collection for over forty years and never before up at auction.
