Boston Loves Impressionism – Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

February 23, 2014

An exhibition of French Impressionist paintings selected by the public. | Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.  Here is an interesting concept.  The museum asked the public to vote on which pieces, from their permanent collection, would be included in the exhibition.  The top 30 earned a spot with the top 3 being placed at the entrance of the show.  In case you are wondering, the top three were van Gogh’s House at Auvers, Monet’s Water Lilies and Degas’ Little Fouteen-Year-Old Dancer.

The exhibition runs through May 26.
