Nazi-Era Art Hoarder Gurlitt Willing to Negotiate Restitution – this is a very interesting development in the Gurlitt story. I am sure we are going to see a lot of ‘new’ work hit the art market once the families settle with Gurlitt.
There is a link in the Bloomberg article to a web site where a number of the works are illustrated … many are works on paper (prints, drawings, etchings, etc.) and the list of artists is amazing: Cezanne, Corot, Courbet, Degas, Delacroix, Durer, Munch, Rousseau ….
