A recent installation in Downtown, Chelsea, NYC, has art lovers lined up for a glimpse of the work…literally, you only get about 40 seconds. Similar to the installation earlier this year, the MoMA’s “Rain Room,” the current installation occupies an area that seems to transport you into a new realm. Artist, Yayoi Kusama, known best for her polka-dot works, creates two infinity mirrored rooms, “The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away” and ‘Love is Calling.” The first room uses sparkling lights and mirrors bring you far into space while the other room filled with Kusama’s, iconic Polka-dotted sculptures and mirrors carry you to a very trippy world!
