Sotheby’s Holds First China Sale with Rembrandt, Picasso – they just keep on pushing. There seems to be no end to the sales in China now and with all the money flowing into art, the auction rooms are going to get as much as possible.
This time they are having both and auction and ‘private sale’ which will includes traditional Chinese material, along with works by Picasso and Rembrandt (take a look at the hand on that painting).
