SAC’s Cohen to Auction Artworks Valued at $85 Million this is interesting in that SAC Capital is accused of encouraging insider trading and will face a $1.8B fine. If true then Mr. Cohen and his firm made some, or all, of their billions by doing something illegal and a $1.8B fine still leaves them with billions and billions of dollars. Gotta love Wall Street!
Anyway, at the upcoming sales it seems that close to $100 million worth of his art will be offered for sale … that will not make much of a dent in a $1.8B fine, but I guess it is a start.
