When given the terms, Cubism, Classicism, Impressionism or Dadaism certain artists tend to stand out more than others. Works by Cezanne, Bernini, Monet and Duchamp are what I would pair with the given genres. Looking back at the history of art it is clear to see what artists were stronger than their contemporaries and what decades were stronger than others. So, with that said, who knows what the current decade will be classified as in the future and what current artist may surpass all of the former artists of their genre.
