In the late 1980’s Pop artist and social activist Keith Haring paired up with a young group of New York and Philadelphia children to paint a large mural of his iconic whimsical stick figures in Philadelphia. After over two decades of wear and tear from the elements, the mural has been fully restored thanks to Kim Alsbrooks, artist and admirer of Haring.
