Happy Birthday to the 17th century Italian painter, Giovanni Antonio Canal, better known as Canaletto! His ‘Venice, the Grand Canal, looking north-east from Palazzo Balbi to the Rialto Bridge’ sold for over $32 million at auction in 2005!
