On another note, Eric Clapton has decided to offer another of the Gerhard Richter paintings he owns. If you remember, back in 2001 he bought 3 paintings for $3.4M and then about a year ago sold one of the works for $34.2M. The next work will carry an estimate of $18 – $22M and will be offered in a November sale.
