Selling art online: Enter Amazon – an interesting article about selling Fine Art online.  We find that at least in the initial stages of building a relationship, many collectors still want to see and ‘feel’ the work of art before buying.  I will add that over the years we have seen and increase in the number of people willing to buy a work right off the web site; but, a lot of those buyers are already familiar with the artist and our gallery.
