On September 13th the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston MFA opened a single-work exhibition. Showcasing Piero della Francesca’s Senigallia Madonna, painted in the 1470’s. The exhibition tells the story of its theft and recovery in the 1970’s. This is the first time the work has been on view in the Unite States.
