Kate Moss Sells as Collection Reaps $2.73 Million at London Auction – a collection of works owned by the German photography collector Gert Elfering and depicting the British model Kate Moss were sold in London for £1.7M ($2.73M) which was in line with their pre-sale estimate of £1.5M. The most expensive work to sell was A model Model by Allen Jones at £133,875 (a life size glass reinforced composite sculpture) and of the 10 unsold works, the most ‘valuable’ was Kate (a tapestry) by Chuck Close.
