Rewriting the History of Abstract Expressionism – running through October 27 at the Parrish Art Museum is Angels, Demons, And Savages: Pollock, Ossorio, Dubuffet. This exhibit is attempting to update the history of Abstract Expressionism by placing Ossorio on equal footing with Pollock and Dubuffet. While Ossorio was an artist, he has always been known as a wealthy collector of works by Pollock, Dubuffet and Still.
