Art collector, Hester Diamond (mother of Mike D from the hip hop group Beastie Boys) donates one of the last works by Veronese in private hands to the Worcester Art Museum in Massachusetts. Purchased in 1990 for $2.9 million, Diamond’s donation is to honor her stepdaughter, Rachel Kaminsky, who has recently joined the museum board.
