Israel and Vatican close to signing Holy Land accord

July 8, 2013

Israel and Vatican officials believe they are closer than ever to signing an agreement involving a number of disputed Holy Land sites.  One site in particular that is a top concern is Jerusalem’s Cenacle, which has influenced countless works of religious art for centuries.  This compound is where Christians believe the second floor room was used to host Jesus’s last supper, Jews believe it to be the 13th century burial site of King David’s tomb and Muslims believe it to be the burial site of the Prophet David.  Check out the article below for more details about this issue.
