Dubai Big Brother Abu Dhabi Drives Spending on Museums Not Malls

The art world has been flooded with news of the ever growing wealth and acquisitions of Abu Dhabi.  They have turned their funding’s over to attracting wealth from around the world by building high-end museums bursting with masterpieces such as the satellite museums of the Louvre and Guggenheim.  While Dubai has made its mark in the art market as well, after reading an article on Bloomberg.com I found an attention-grabbing analogy and ever so simple way to understand the two Persian Gulf sectors, “Abu Dhabi is the successful doctor in the family, a wealthy big brother, and Dubai is a successful young, hotshot trader with a cyclical income.”  Find out more about the two areas growing wealth and differences.
