All the Americas in Tulsa | Thomas Gilcrease Museum – Gilcrease was a self-made oilman whose first purchase, in 1922, was Daniel Ridgway Knight’s Rural Courtship … one of the most widely reproduced paintings by the artist.  His story makes for interesting reading.
