Young Girl by the Lake. While we are on Swiss art, here is a wonderful example of Fritz Zuber-Buhler’s work. This 19th century Swiss artist was born in 1822 and by the time he was 16 had traveled to Paris to study with Louis Grosclaude and then with Picot at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts.
