Internationally collected artist June Stratton (Born 1959, Honolulu, Hawaii) is known for delicate emotive depictions of women in oil paint, gold leaf and handmade plaster casts. Stratton is a modern realist painter now living in Savannah, Georgia USA. Her internationally collected contemporary figurative work has been exhibited at the MEAM Museum, Barcelona, Spain, on the cover of American Art Collector and in April 2023 in a solo exhibition at Robert Lange Studios. “My work represents many of my emotions that I have had in the past or are feeling in the moment from a woman’s perspective. It is my hope that collectors who view my works see the implied narrative in both the painted parts, the three-dimensional gilded symbols and feel as if they have been transported to another world.” June Stratton
